Aye, I think a good amount of the lack of realism is because of the eyes. Generally eyes only show a bit of white above or below the pupil when they are open wide. She also seems to be missing her windpipe for having such showy tendons

i love how you have shaded, and her neck looks good too! very defined.

they eyeballs probably need a little more shading, but other than that great work

Hmm. I like it. Maybe you're not satisfied because the eyes are too big. Sorta Disney-ish... But a nice rendering nonetheless.
